Under the auspices of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and in celebration of International Women's Day, Ms. Ikhlas Ali Fadel from the College of Education/Tuz Khurmatu was honored in recognition of her distinguished efforts and effective contributions to administrative work and the university's academic mission.

This recognition took place during a ceremony organized by the University Presidency to honor a select group of creative women across various university departments, appreciating their vital role in supporting academic and administrative functions and enhancing women's presence in higher education institutions.

The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, Asst. Lect. Baneen Ali Askar, who emphasized the importance of supporting and empowering women within the university environment and bolstering their active roles in both scientific and administrative fields.

At the conclusion of the event, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Ms. Ikhlas Ali Fadel in recognition of her dedication and sincerity in performing her duties, with wishes for her continued success and contribution to the university’s service.

The event was attended by the Dean, the Scientific Associate Dr. Ali Salah Zein Al-Abidin, and a group of faculty members and students. Following a recitation from the Holy Quran in memory of Iraq’s martyrs, Prof. Dr. Nehad Ali Shafiq delivered a speech praising the students' efforts and the role of research in academic advancement. Dr. Ibrahim Ali Salman, Head of the Arabic Language Department, also emphasized the importance of supporting student researchers in producing rigorous scholarly work. The ceremony, organized with the coordination of Dr. Zainab Jalabi Mohammad, Head of the Continuing Education Unit, concluded with the honoring of student Fatima Ahmed Mahmoud for securing first place college-wide for her research titled: "Functions Inspired by Poetic Semantics in the Imagery of Nizar Qabbani: A Study of Pillars, Forms, and Manifestations," supervised by Dr. Waad Dalyan Anwar. This recognition reflects the College’s commitment to supporting creative students and fostering a spirit of scientific excellence.

This initiative aimed to enhance the academic proficiency of researchers and students by providing comprehensive training on Mendeley software, covering installation procedures and practical techniques for managing citations and organizing bibliographies with high academic precision. The course, which featured lectures by Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Ahmed, Dr. Samah Hussein Asaad Turk, and Lecturer Abdullah Mahmoud Jassim, included hands-on practical sessions attended by faculty members, staff, and students to ensure the effective application of acquired skills. In its concluding remarks, the organizers underscored the necessity of integrating modern digital tools into the research process to facilitate source documentation and elevate the overall quality of scholarly output.
